Week thirteen learn about lighting effects

This week I had a objection to go around the university site and find the best places that offered lighting. With this task it was fun to go around the university to find the best location. The location that I went for was the cafeteria. I went for this location because it had a hallway before the actually hallway that offers the best location for understanding shading. I also went into the cafeteria to draw scenes with shading which was a interesting task because the cafeteria had a range of lights coming from different angles which made it interesting to draw and to find the shadows. I have also tasked myself to draw from different angles to create the most interesting outcome. But when I was drawing the locations I decided to go for the thumbnail route so that I could to a multiply range of drawings and have a selection to pick from.

After deciding what thumbnails I wanted to draw, it was then simply shading it in. With the thumbnails I simple shade the areas that need shadow with pencil, so then I had outline to follow. With the final outcomes I use my brush pen because I wanted to practice with it and to use it for a comic style of shading. Overall this was a good experiment to do because I found out that I like doing this style of work with the Brush pen and I like the idea of  doing a multiply range thumbnails so that I have a range of angles to go for.
