Week fourteen London trip

With this week we went to London for a drawing. This was a great day task because I was left to explore London how I want and what I wanted to draw. When we started out, I had a feeling that I wanted to draw things that to me were visual appealing or trying to draw something new. But I also had a personal task of drawing from observational instead of photos. The drawings that I did were a range of observational drawings of my friends on the bus because I wanted to practice drawing people while they are moving.

When I got to the museum I thought it would be a fun task to draw something that I found interesting such as dinosaurs, which is something that I have never drawn before. It was great to see these angling of the bones. I used my tradition themed of drawing quick sketches my fine liner pen. This was a perfect media to use because I could simple use a splash of water to get the shading of the object. The first location that I went to was the National history museum, with this location I had a range of objects to chose from. These objects were the dinosaurs bones and also stuffed animals.

The second location that I went to was the National science Museum which had multiply objects that were pieces of gears, engines and science equipment.  With the overall design of the drawings I took my time with the drawings. I would not move away from the object until I was satisfied. This was a good motive that I went by and want to continue with.
