Week two Advance drawings ellipses

This week was about getting the sense of the shape of the objects, the depth and outlines.

A little party, Materials: Charcoal and ink 

The outlines of everyday objects, Materials: Ink

Glasses, material: pencil 

Lamps and plants at campus, Materials: Brush pen and fine liner

Costa, Materials: Fine liner and brush pen

People and the tree, Material: Fine Liner

with this assignment, I had fun but I think with some of the drawings I should have taken a bit more time with them for example the people from "people and the tree". I rushed and with that I punished myself with incorrect anatomy. But for my next drawings take my time. But I did like just creating the outline of the people and objects because it easily describes the object. I think if I want to create a simple outline drawing go for the brush pen because it creates the perfect sharp outlines that I think are ideal. With the charcoal drawings I am very happy with the outcome because it got the sense that it has become a 3D object but I think to make it better I need to practice more on my shading skills. With the ink drawings again I think it creates the same effect as the brush pen which is what I am after if I ever want a simple line drawing.
